CALL FOR ARTISTS!
The Stanley is looking for artists interested in having their work considered for exhibition in our newly renovated Loretta M. Romano Room Gallery and in the NEW South Gallery of The Stanley during the 2010-2011 season.
Selected artists will either exhibit in the Romano Room Gallery or the South Gallery, and have a solo show or exhibit with other artists at the discretion of the Exhibitions Committee. Exhibits in the galleries can be viewed during performances, meetings and other events held at the theatre and from 9-5 Monday-Friday. Each exhibit will run for approximately four weeks.
Stanley staff will provide publicity and host an opening reception for the artists. Artists chosen will be responsible for hanging the show, creating title cards with their name, the titles, medium and prices of their works and provide printed labels of up to 100 guests they'd like to invite to the opening. The Stanley will retain a 25% commission on any work sold during the exhibit. We ask that no work be removed before the end of the exhibit.
Instructions:
Submit the following to The Stanley:
- A disc with 10, no more no less, jpeg images of your work. Each work's title must be the title of the individual jpeg files. Be sure to write your name on the actual disc.
- A list with the titles, dimensions and medium of your 10 works with the submission form. CLICK HERE to download the submission form.
Discs with your images will not be returned. Submissions must be postmarked or hand-delivered by 3:30pm on July 23, 2010. Entries received past the deadline will not be reviewed.
